Family work conflict is a conflict arising from family responsibilities that interfere with job responsibilities, so the impact is the emergence of forms of job stress, interpersonal conflict in working area, career transition, the existence of the organization or superiors less supportive, long and irregular work hours and increased workload. Purpose : To determine the magnitude of the influence of dual role family work conflict against the work of female nurses in dr. Soedarso Pontianak hospitals. Method : Correlative research method with crossectional approach. The sample in this study were 60 people. Total sampling used in this study. Done in this study is questionnaire and analyzed by Chi Square statistical test. Results : This study indicate that there is the influence of family work conflict on the work stress of female nurses in dr. Soedarso Pontianak with value ρ value 0,010 (p value <0,05) which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Conclusions : There is influence of dual role conflict (family work conflict) to work stress of female nurse in dr.
